Practice Protocol
Reduce, compare, isolate, rebuild.
01
Reduce
Strip the capital down to the minimum structural strokes.
02
Compare
Place two or three variations beside one another and describe the visible differences.
03
Isolate
Choose one variable—width, shade, entry or balance—and change only that.
04
Rebuild
Return to the full capital and test whether the structural improvement remains visible.
Why the protocol avoids long alphabet rows
Producing many capitals can hide the exact point where a structural decision changes. Shorter sets preserve attention and make side-by-side comparison easier.
Typical session length
Most case sessions take roughly 25–40 minutes. Learners can return to the same capital several days later with fewer prompts.
